As well as BITMO’s 18 days of activities based in the BITMO’s GATE community centre, BITMO would like to support community-led fun days based in different parts of the estate.

If you and three of your neighbours can agree to help organise it, BITMO can:

  • Work with you to plan the event
  • Hire a bouncy castle (or similar) for you for two hours
  • Provide a £50 supermarket voucher towards drinks and snacks
  • Provide giant chalks and some games such as giant connect 4.
  • If you need them, lend some bunting, folding tables and chairs.

BITMO hours over the holidays

BITMO’s housing office – the housing counter and the telephone service – will be business as normal until 5pm on Monday 23 December.

Tuesday 24 December – 9am-1pm

Wednesday 25 December – CLOSED

Thursday 26 December – CLOSED

Friday 27 December – 10am-4pm

Monday 30 December -10am-4pm

Tuesday 31 December – 10am-1pm

Wednesday 1 January – CLOSED

BITMO’s Board has opened a new Winter Warmth Fund for this winter. The Board understand the cost of living crisis that is affecting many people and have allocated money from their budget to pay for goods that can help you and your family keep warm this winter.

BITMO households in need of extra support can apply for a winter warmth pack which will contain large fleecy sherpa blankets, hot water bottles with covers and fleecy socks, with the amounts depending on how many people are in our household.
