There is a plan to start a community garden and you are invited to view the site on Wednesday 20 July from 4-6pm. It is located off West Grange Road, opposite the entrance to Londsdale Close – near the old West Grange Club.

BITMO caretakers have cleared the site of rubbish and cut back the weeds so you can see the potential of the site. See the before and after photos.

The gate has also been relocated as part of the plan to move some of the fencing to make the site more secure.

BITMO hours over the holidays

BITMO’s housing office – the housing counter and the telephone service – will be business as normal until 5pm on Monday 23 December.

Tuesday 24 December – 9am-1pm

Wednesday 25 December – CLOSED

Thursday 26 December – CLOSED

Friday 27 December – 10am-4pm

Monday 30 December -10am-4pm

Tuesday 31 December – 10am-1pm

Wednesday 1 January – CLOSED

BITMO’s Board has opened a new Winter Warmth Fund for this winter. The Board understand the cost of living crisis that is affecting many people and have allocated money from their budget to pay for goods that can help you and your family keep warm this winter.

BITMO households in need of extra support can apply for a winter warmth pack which will contain large fleecy sherpa blankets, hot water bottles with covers and fleecy socks, with the amounts depending on how many people are in our household.
