Free* food and activities Summer 2023

There will be eighteen days of free* food and activities at BITMO’s GATE this summer.

Every week there will be:

a free* hot meal on Tuesday served from 4-6pm
a free* breakfast every Friday morning served from 9.30 – 11.30
major midweek events every from 25 July to 31 August
*free sandwich packs available to eat in or take away every Wednesday 12.15 – 1pm
Tuesday afternoon sessions – sport, dance, drama

Wednesday 26 July – Farm at BITMO

TUESDAY 1 August – big chalk/cardboard city

Wednesday 9 August – Climbing Wall. Table tennis with PING PONG PETE.

Wednesday 16 August – open air theatre “The NOT SO Big Bad Wolf”

Wednesday 23 August – Inflatables – go karts and bouncy castle

THURSDAY 31 August – end of summer festival – barbecue, music, face painting

*Free to BITMO and Places for People tenants and their households.

There’s a Breeze event in Middleton Park on Tuesday 29 August.

BITMO hours over the holidays

BITMO’s housing office – the housing counter and the telephone service – will be business as normal until 5pm on Monday 23 December.

BITMO’s Board has opened a new Winter Warmth Fund for this winter. The Board understand the cost of living crisis that is affecting many people and have allocated money from their budget to pay for goods that can help you and your family keep warm this winter.

BITMO households in need of extra support can apply for a winter warmth pack which will contain large fleecy sherpa blankets, hot water bottles with covers and fleecy socks, with the amounts depending on how many people are in our household.
