A Playbox in Belle Isle

There will be a playbox in the BITMO car park from 15 to 23 August. The playbox is full of craft and outdoor play equipment. There will be five sessions run by playworkers, who will help families get the most of the experience. The sessions are:

• Thursday 15 August 1-4pm (sandwich packs available at 1pm)
• Friday 16 August 9.15-11.15am (hot breakfast available from 9.15am)
• Tuesday 20 August 2-4pm (family tea served from 4pm)
• Thursday 22 August 1-4pm (sandwich packs available at 1pm)
• Friday 23 August 9.15-11.15am (hot breakfast available from 9.15am)

Would you like there to be a playbox based in Belle Isle all the time? Some Belle Isle parents have already visited another playbox in Killingbeck and are interested in having one here. It would have a long-term base somewhere in Belle Isle, and would be opened at agreed times – such as after school a couple of days a week or a weekend morning – by volunteers (and possibly playworkers if there is any funding).
