Family Learning Course

November 10, 2021 @ 12.45 - 2,45pm

This is a 6-week course run by Leeds Learning Hub on Wednesdays from November 10, which aims to help parents and carers encourage and support their child’s development.

Treasure Books is a short course looking at a much-loved book in depth.
The course will look at how you can support your child’s development and confidence
by drawing out different elements of the treasure book.
You will explore how reading together can help your child, investigate different
activities relating to the book and analyse and evaluate examples of techniques to
support your child’s learning.
After each session you will have created fun activities that you can use with your child
to develop their love of the treasure book and will have been supported by the course
tutor to improve your own confidence with sharing books with your child.
